MOBIL - a luminaire that is what it is called, a mobile.

In her first collaboration with Konsthantverk, Kristina has transformed her fascination with mobiles into a unique luminaire. In gentle balance and quiet movement - just like a traditional mobile - a feeling of calm and harmony is created, and fills the room with light and warmth. With a focus on genuine craftmanship, materials and feeling, the luminaire becomes a bright spot for the eye and mind.

Kristina Stark is an artist and designer MFA educated at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm and at Central Saint Martins in London. She is driven by the desire to create form and expression for the seemingly simple. She does not seek the grandiose, but the magic of the lowkey. Her work is based on function and robustness, rooted in the logic of craftmanship and a humble sensitivity to the material. Beyond this, as a necessary complement, there is always a kind of sincerity and a poetic touch.
